Then chances are that you’ll find it tough to follow your calling.

Because there will always be people who will not like what you do or the way you do it.

Like there will always be people who will support you in whatever you do. But these will be a minority.

So, there is no way to do something big or important without annoying people. You should still do what you want to do anyway while keeping your supporters close to you.

You will face this more when you put out stuff on social media.

But even if you don’t put it out on social media, Khanna Uncle or Gupta Aunty will find you and give you unsolicited advice about what you should be doing. If they can’t do it directly, they’ll do it via family channels.

Ignore them without worrying about annoying them. Meanwhile keep working on your craft. After some time, they’ll stop paying attention. And, you will move ahead from where you were. At that point, you’ll find a new group of people who will be annoyed by what you do.

Then repeat the ‘ignore them and do what you do’ exercise.

That’s the only way to do what you want, more so if it is not conventional.
