The Lean Morning Routine That Wins the Day

The internet is filled with millionaire and billionaire morning routine articles and posts.

A routine that takes 60-150 minutes out of your best time of the day won’t do you any good.

Ditch your morning routine and train your brain to work without warmup for the best results.

To make it easy, do the prep and rituals the night before. Create a wind-down ritual. Make it as elaborate as you want because you have done what must be done in the morning and won the morning.

To put it in practice, get up as soon as possible. Sleep as soon as possible but no later than 10 pm to make it a reality. 9.30 pm is even better. So get up at 4, start work at 4.30 until 7.30 am. Empty your bowels, clean your mouth, take a bath, and meditate for the first 30 minutes before starting.

At 7:30 am, take 1-1.5 hours to move your body, massage, eat breakfast and rest a bit. This done, start again for another 2-3 hours of work.

By 11 or 12, you should be done with the day’s work, free to eat lunch at 12 and rest from 1 or 2 pm. Then do 1-2 hours of calls, admin work, checking emails, and putting things back in place.

Anyone who puts in 6 hours of work before the afternoon will be satisfied and happy. They will see consistent growth in whatever they do. All this without the anxiety from thinking about what you need to do.

If you currently follow a ‘millionaire’ morning routine, reduce some items. First, remove one item and see if you can do without it. Then one by one, reduce to the least possible.

A word of caution. Do get overzealous and start burning both ends of the candle. If you started early, finish early too. So that you can enjoy the evening to wind down and not jeopardize your next morning and day.

Enough reading. Get to work now!
