World is crazy about independence.

It is sexy.

It is liberating.

But it isolates if we take it to extremes.

What is extreme?

When someone thinks they don’t need the world.

They have all they need, and they don’t need anybody’s help.

This situation seems empowering but it is not.

Even if it is possible to live independently, does not mean it is the better way.

What’s better?

Have independence, and enjoy interdependence.

One can’t enjoy independence over a long period of time if there is no true connection because it can’t exist without independence.
