Don’t Take Risks You Don’t Understand

Raghuram Rajan erstwhile Chief Economist and at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) wrote in his book “Fault Lines: How Hidden Fractures Still Threaten the World Economy”:

“Not taking risks one doesn’t understand is often the best form of risk management.”

This quote is apt for the current times.

Those who are not paying heed to the advice of staying home, staying safe, and are heading out without any compelling reason are the ones who don’t not understanding the quantum of the risk.

One can use this same approach for wealth building and making important life choices.
