5 Lessons Learned After 3 Years as a Daily Creator

I have been creating content daily since Jan 1st, 2019.

I started by publishing a blog post a day here on this blog and continue till today.

And restarted posting content on Twitter on Jan 1st, 2022.

It has been a fulfilling journey that has created new opportunities for me.

I have learned lessons along the way.

Sharing 5 such lessons with you, hoping you can use them in your creator journey.

1/ It’s easy to sell what you love. So find something you can’t stop talking about, and you’ll find it easy to become a profitable creator.

2/ Those who win act despite fear. When creating consistently, you’ll experience different fears — fear that you’ll run out of ideas, you are not good enough, and you’ll not make it like other creators. The truth is, all other creators had those fears. Yet, they continued despite those fears and reached where they are.

3/ Your creations deserve your best energy. Don’t try to create when you are dead tired. Create soon after you wake up, after getting some rest, or when you are usually energetic. Otherwise, it will feel like a chore, and you’ll stop creating.

4/ Learning without application is a waste of time. The best way to learn something is to learn for a reason. Only learn something if you are going to use it. Otherwise, it is a waste of time. Because you’ll find it hard to retain learning that you don’t use.

5/ One piece of relevant and timely content can reach millions. But you won’t be able to know which piece will do that. So you can only improve your chances by often creating while trying to improve 1% with every piece.

I hope you can use these as a creator.
