The most important thing you can do for this is to meet your customers where there are, instead of waving at them from afar.
For bigger deals it may mean keeping in touch with them over months and years.
Use the language they use and hold their hands while they find their way to your products and understand if and how it fits their needs.
Also understand that not everyone can be your customer. That’s why, don’t target everyone
It does not matter how good your product is, if you are targeting wrong people, no one will buy.
Try selling a comb to a bald man, …. It’s hard.
And if you are selling aspirational products, then sell transformation and not the path you’ll take to get there.
Implementing it is easier said than done. But if you work on it, it’ll pay big dividends.
