Resetting Cycles

I love late nights when everything is quiet and you become one with whatever you want to do.

I also love the mornings because of the brightness and fresh energy they bring with them.

Can one enjoy both?

I don’t think so because then we’ll be burning the candle at both ends.

Here is what I do, for 3-4 days a week, I let myself loose to work late at night, without worrying about when I’ll get up.

And, then for 2-3 days, I go into reboot mode. I wake up super early, watch the sunrise, give myself a relaxed and early start, to get into the day after enjoy morning chit chat with family.

To make it work, figure out a resetting cycle that works for you.

In my case, I just need to sleep early or wake early even when I sleep late, to get myself out of late sleep, late wake-up cycle.

Depending on the cycle you need to reset, you may have to do less, more, or put in a different kind of effort.
