Focus on Playing, Don’t Look at the Scoreboard

Why?

Because

  • It is more fun
  • It is more rewarding because when you are focusing on playing, then it is easier to get in the flow, and where you are in flow, you do great work, and when you do great work, rewards are bound to come by
  • It is less taxing. When there is no worry about results, and you play for the sake of playing, you get rid of the anxiety that comes with worrying about the results.
  • It makes you more energetic. When we don’t worry about the scoreboard, we become like kids, and our energy has no bounds.

So keep playing without worrying about the scoreboard. Just do it day after, for months or years, and everything will add up, and you’ll still win.
