I have been a public speaker, marketer, entrepreneur, trainer, author, coach, and book publisher.
I still live most of these identities.
But these identities don’t define who I am because if they did I’ll not be able to pursue new paths that I want to.
If you are an employee and want to be an entrepreneur you can’t continue to cling to your old identity because if you did you’ll find it hard to look beyond it.
When trying to become a new you, you first have to embrace a new identity and the chance of transformation is good if you embrace one new identity at a time.
So, if you want to become an author, start calling yourself an author and adopt habits, build routines and design your environment to make it easier for you to live that new identity.
Works the same for everything.
