We are not always motivated to do what we do.
But to keep growing we need to find motivation.
When you find yourself lacking motivation to create. Try these.
1/ Change what you do.
It’s not easy.
Changing a business is a lot more difficult than changing a job because your money and reputation are at stake.
But if you have been stuck for long, even at a big cost, make this change.
Of course you can be methodical about it by not doing it abruptly and so that survival or continuity is not impacted for those who rely on you for delivery like a boss, colleagues or clients for those in a job and customers, employees, co-founder for those running a business.
Before you make this big change, try these two small changes.
2/ Change your environment.
Move to a new place, or change the room or place in the room where you work.
Get rid of clutter, change lighting or colors on the wall.
3/ Change your body and mind, by changing what you eat.
Jim Rohn once said, “Your level of success will seldom exceed your level of personal development…work harder on yourself than you do on your job.”
And body and mind are a big part of our personal growth.
So eat clean for a month and see how it impacts your motivation.
It may come as a shock to the body first but then it will thank you.
And, you will be happy to have made this change.
