The First Step Is Not the Most Important

We are often scared to take the first step fearing whether it will lead to the goal we are seeking.

We don’t need to fear because the first step does not decide your end game.

With it, you just tell yourself that you are willing to commit to something, that you want to give it a shot.

What you do after taking that first step is more important because the outcome in part depends on whether you’ll show your commitment by taking more steps after that first step.

You should know that there will be enough chances to change course and make amendments when you are on the way.

So don’t fear the first steps, worrying about how things will turn out because that is dependent on what you do after those first steps and in the long run.

And of course, acknowledge that the next steps will come after you take the first step. So take more steps knowing that it is nothing to fear about.

Get into the habit of taking the first steps without worrying about the outcomes and figure things out on the way, except when it is a matter of life and death.

To more first steps 🙂
