According to a Harvard Business Review article based on 10 years of research, people who were described as “decisive” were 12 times more likely to be high-performing CEOs.
The article points out that – Decisive CEOs recognize that they can’t wait for perfect information.
You can use this approach in anything that you do.
Just ask yourself – what’s the downside if I get it wrong. And if the downside is not huge and manageable then decide and move forward and see what happens.
Best to take a lot of small bets and chances are you’ll come out a winner in a few of them. With those go big.
Still keeping that attitude of decisiveness and limiting downside.
