Sharp People Need Sharp Tools

Abraham Lincoln said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”

What is the equivalent of the axe for a creator or business owner?

The tools and machines they use.

That’ll be the laptop and software for a modern professional.

One of my favorite pieces of software is the one that uses async video for productivity and collaboration.

Because it allows you to share information visually and with corresponding audio with writing long emails.

And most importantly, it allows you to explain yourself without getting into a meeting.

With such tools, you can also:

  • Share ideas
  • Ask questions
  • Record courses
  • Explain concepts
  • Exchange knowledge
  • Send personalized notes
  • Reply to customer questions

How you use these tools is only limited by your imagination.

I know one of the course creators used Loom to create a multi-6-figure course.

I use Loom in various ways, like sharing info with my team and connecting with my newsletter subscribers.

If you want to use such a tool, CloudApp, Hippo Video, SnagIt, and Wistia Soapbox are other prominent players in the space.

Check these out and see which one you want to use.
