What do we accumulate wealth for?
What is the reason behind all the work that we put into our projects, jobs, and startups?
Is it a wild goose chase – the pursuit of something that we can’t achieve?
Or are we after something that we actually don’t want and we are doing it just because the society wants us to?
This is a question we must ask ourselves.
What if you want to spend more time with your family and everything you are doing is setting you up for the opposite – like the pursuit of becoming a CEO or a business leader.
Or you want inner calm but your morning cell phone ritual sets you up for chaos? Won’t 10 minutes of quiet, effortless silence be a better way to start your day?
Do you want to build a big company but try doing everything yourself just because it will save you some money in the short run?
It is worthwhile to ask ourselves why we are doing something once in a while. More so if we spend a good part of the day doing something.
