They travel to explore.

But there are other reasons.

As per a Booking.com survey of more than 53,000 travelers from 31 countries, people travel to give themselves time to relax, to relive good times in the past, and to get away from demands at home.

There is also a unique reason that 75% or more Indians, Filipinos, and Indonesdensosa have. They travel to go to places where their friends haven’t been to.

That means they travel for social status.

A part of this is fueled by social media. 

People do certain things because it will be good for social media.

It is similar to playing to the gallery and living a version of your life for the public. When you do that you lose a part of you.

Cyril Connolly, English literary critic, and writer said it the best:

Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.

When you indulge in something like that, ask yourself – Is it worth it?
