Because doing more is not equal to progress.
Doing high-value work is the way out.
That gives you more for every hour spent.
There are many ways to find out what that work is, for you.
One of the ways is to imagine what would you do if you only had 1 hour to work to continue earning the same that you do now.
At times, the answer may lie in the work you do. Audit your time, to identify the 20% work that creates 80% results for you.
So that’s the kind of work you should be doing in that one hour.
If you are working for 10 hours a day, you’ll still be spending 2 hours doing that thing.
To improve your ROTI (return on time invested), work on being efficient, either by getting help or improving your focus, or doing both.
So get over busyness and hustle culture and get ahead with thoughtful and impact-creating work.
