PBWiki crosses the 50,000 mark

The PBWiki (short for Peanut Butter Wiki) which hosts BarCamp site and facilitates collaboration for most of the BarCamps across the world has crossed the 50,000 wiki-mark. This makes PBWiki “the largest consumer wiki farm” on the planet.

PBWiki is a part of Coceve, a privately held company in the Bay area, and is run by 3 Stanford graduates.

One really heartening fact is the person leading the marketing efforts is a person of Indian origin. He is Ramit Sethi, creator of a very popular iwillteachyoutoberich. As per Ramit’s bio the blog hosts over 100,000 users per month.
