Switching From a Job to Being on Your Own

To make it work, make a plan to make your job a small part of all that you do, over a few years.

How do you do that?

Start a side project, where you sell either coaching, services, software, information products, and acquire customers.

Become so good at it, that you are able to raise prices 5-10 times in a 2-3 years period.

If you do that, what you earn for this side project may become higher than what your job pays you.

At that point, your job becomes a small part of what we do.

Once you have options, connect with your employer and negotiate reduced time at work for lower pay, and spend more time growing your startup if you are on that path, or add another project to your portfolio.
