Bringing Your Whole Self to Whatever You Do

Don Draper in episode 8 of season 4 of Mad Men says, “When a man walks into a room, he brings his whole life with him.”

True, we bring our whole life with us but do we bring our whole self into the rooms we walk into?

This is a question worth asking.

See, when we bring who we actually are to everything we do, we are at ease because we don’t have to act. We also attract the kind of people who truly like us, who want to work with us, and who want to be with us. When we attract such people in our lives, no one has to act out as if they were in a drama playing a role.

This results in authentic connections, heightened spirits and effortless ‘anything’ – work, relationships, and collaborations. People who experience such connections are fulfilled.

And a truly fulfilled world is a happy world.

What else do we need?
